Customer Service Specialist

Join our team as a Customer Service Specialist where you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, assist with inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend optimal solutions. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction, achieving sales goals, and maintaining high product and store standards. 🚀

Overview

This is a full-time position based at Store #3641 located at 8327 Creedmoor Rd, Raleigh, NC 27613. The role requires working within a 10-mile radius of the store, with a schedule of 40 hours per week and a starting salary of $18.50 per hour.

Due to contact with customers and access to various store resources, a criminal history review is conducted to ensure safety and security for all stakeholders, including employees, vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service 😊
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending products and services
• Build trustful and productive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately following store policies
• Achieve and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis 🎯
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
• Tint and mix paint products per customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up attractive displays 🌟
• Clean store equipment to maintain high standards
• Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks
• Support with deliveries when needed
• Keep in-stock and visually appealing the assigned areas
• Stay informed about product options to advise customers effectively
• Follow inventory control procedures
• Suggest improvements to enhance sales and service

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Proficiency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, comprehension, communication)
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
