Position Overview: Flex Houseparents 👩‍👩‍👧‍👦

We are seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this life-changing role, couples reside in on-campus student homes, providing essential care, guidance, supervision, and support for approximately 8–13 students. Your presence helps cultivate a structured, family-like environment that promotes students' academic, emotional, and social growth, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities 📋

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and participating in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various homes on a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three days off. On weekdays, there is unscheduled time while students are in school. Later, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their own home.

Benefits & Compensation 💼💰

• Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total of $168,000 per couple), including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications & Requirements 🎓🚗

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Legally married for at least two years (both spouses)
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children residing in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and the ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
• Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing not permitted)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; serve as role models for students
