Position Overview: Flex Houseparents 💑
Join us in a unique, rewarding career where couples live on-campus and support approximately 8-13 students by providing supervision, mentorship, and a nurturing environment. 💖
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational events
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
Work Schedule 💼
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled free time when students are in school. Transition into a Placed Houseparent role when living and working with the same student group in their own home.

Qualifications & Requirements ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism as role models for students
