Now Hiring: Full-time Flex Houseparents (Married Couples)

We are seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. This unique, life-changing role involves living on campus and supporting a small group of students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor students daily
• Manage household routines and student schedules
• Administer medications and promote student wellness
• Transport students to activities and engage in recreational and developmental activities
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services
• Oversee household budgeting and reporting

Work Schedule

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their own home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Married couples, legally married for at least two years
• Both spouses must be ≥27 years old
• Maximum of three dependent children residing in the home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved breed of dog
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to be certified to drive student vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling expected
