Position Overview: Full-time Flex Houseparents 👩‍👧‍👦👨‍👧‍👦

We are seeking dedicated, married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this impactful role, couples live in campus student homes, providing guidance, supervision, and care for approximately 8–13 students. Your role is essential in cultivating a nurturing, family-like environment that promotes students' academic, emotional, and social development to help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities ✨

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and supporting student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning engaging recreational and developmental events
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel services
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they enjoy unscheduled time while students are in school. Over time, they may transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with a consistent group of students in their own dedicated home.

Benefits & Compensation 🎁

• Salary: $44,768 per person (Total approximate compensation for couples: $168,000 annually), including free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more.

Qualifications & Requirements 🎯

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Legally married couples for at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Residence limited to no more than three dependent children in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans
• Ability to lead students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Display integrity and professionalism—serving as role models to students
