Position Overview: Full-Time Flex Houseparents ❤️
We are seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique role, couples live in on-campus student homes and provide essential care, guidance, supervision, and support to groups of approximately 8–13 students. You will play a vital role in creating a family-like environment that nurtures students’ academic, emotional, and social growth.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and promoting student wellness
- Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational events
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
Initially, houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their own home.
Benefits & Compensation 💰
- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 annually per couple), including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications & Requirements ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children residing in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one approved breed dog allowed
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing not permitted)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role-model qualities
