Position Overview 👥

We are seeking married couples to serve as Full-Time Flex Houseparents. In this impactful and rewarding career, couples live in on-campus homes, guiding and caring for groups of approximately 8–13 students. You will create a structured, family-like environment that nurtures students' academic, emotional, and social growth — empowering them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities 🎯

• Daily supervision and mentorship of students
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and promoting student wellness
• Driving students to activities and recreational outings
• Planning and engaging students in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Work Schedule & Transition 🚦

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they enjoy unscheduled time while students are in school. With experience, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with a consistent group of students in their own dedicated home.

Compensation & Benefits 💰🎉

• Salary: $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple), including free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more

Required Qualifications ✅

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Legally married couples for at least two years
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Maximum of three dependent children residing in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved breed of dog
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with certification to drive student vans
• Ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism — role models to students
