Position Overview 👥
We are seeking married couples to serve as Full-Time Flex Houseparents. In this impactful and rewarding career, couples live in on-campus homes, guiding and caring for groups of approximately 8–13 students. You will create a structured, family-like environment that nurtures students' academic, emotional, and social growth — empowering them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Daily supervision and mentorship of students
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and promoting student wellness
- Driving students to activities and recreational outings
- Planning and engaging students in developmental and recreational activities
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
Work Schedule & Transition 🚦
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they enjoy unscheduled time while students are in school. With experience, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with a consistent group of students in their own dedicated home.
Compensation & Benefits 💰🎉
- Salary: $44,768 per person (~$168,000 total per couple), including free housing, meals during duty, utilities, and more

Required Qualifications ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children residing in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol during duty
- Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved breed of dog
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with certification to drive student vans
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism — role models to students
