Position Overview: Full-Time Flex Houseparents ❤️🏠

We are looking for dedicated married couples to serve as Full-Time Flex Houseparents. In this meaningful role, couples will live on campus in student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to groups of approximately 8–13 students. Your efforts will help create a nurturing, family-like environment that promotes students’ academic, emotional, and social growth, enabling them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities 🌟

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in a dedicated student home.

Qualifications & Requirements ✔️

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Married couples (legally married for at least two years)
• Both spouses aged 27 or older
• Residence permitted for no more than three dependent children in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
• Pet restrictions: only fish and one approved dog breed
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
• Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated professionalism and integrity; role models for students
