🌟 Job Opportunity: Full-Time Flex Houseparents

Join our dedicated team as a married couple and serve as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to support students' academic, emotional, and social development. This is a once-in-a-lifetime career that fosters meaningful connections and personal growth.

🤝 Responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily supervision and mentorship
  • Managing household routines and student schedules
  • Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
  • Driving students to activities and planning engaging developmental and recreational activities
  • Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel services
  • Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various homes following a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off. During weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Eventually, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their dedicated home.

🎁 Benefits include:

  • Salary: $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple, including free housing, meals, utilities, and more)

🎯 Qualifications:

  • Experience working or volunteering with youth
  • Legally married couples for at least two years
  • Both spouses age 27 or older
  • No more than three dependent children residing in the home
  • Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
  • Pet limitations: only fish and one approved breed dog
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student vans
  • Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
