Job Summary 📝
Helping people is at the heart of what we do. We are seeking a Bilingual Member Support Specialist to join our Member Support Team, providing exceptional assistance with pharmacy benefits in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is fluent in spoken and written Spanish, has strong customer service skills, and is passionate about making a positive impact in healthcare.
Current Shifts Available ⏰
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM CT (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) — Off Thursday and Sunday
- 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM CT (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) — Off Thursday and Sunday
Note: Shift availability may change as we are actively interviewing. A 9-week onsite training and nesting period at our Plano office is required to ensure success in this role.
The training runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time for the first 3 weeks, after which you’ll transition to your scheduled shift. The workweek is Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
What You Will Do 🎯
- Answer inbound and make outbound calls to members, physicians, and pharmacies, delivering a seamless member experience in both English and Spanish (95% English, 5% Spanish).
- Follow up, resolve, and document issues related to member interactions, routing inquiries as necessary for further investigation.
- Educate members about their pharmacy benefits.
- Strive for one-call resolution by fully resolving member inquiries.
- Maintain a patient-centric approach with a high sense of urgency.
- Handle sensitive information while adhering to PPI and HIPAA regulations.
- Navigate complex triage pathways to identify the correct route for issue resolution.
What You Will Bring 💼
- At least 2+ years of bilingual (Spanish & English) experience in a call center environment.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Experience resolving complex issues in a customer service setting.
- Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, and G-Suite.
- Excellent active listening, empathy, and conversational skills.
- Adept at multitasking.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Passion for helping others.
- Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce Service Cloud, Talkdesk, preferred.
- Previous experience with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, or pharmacy work, preferred.
