We are excited to announce that LCCU is hiring! As a vital member of our team, you will provide outstanding front-line service to our members, assisting with account management, product education, and financial solutions.
Your Contribution
The Member Service Representative II (MSR II) plays a key role in fostering fully engaged financial relationships by delivering exceptional member service and sales support. The role includes a blend of member interaction, account handling, and teller duties, supporting the credit union's business strategy.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
Member Service & Sales
- 👋 Greet and welcome members cordially, ensuring prompt and professional service
- 📚 Maintain thorough knowledge of credit union products to educate members effectively
- 🔍 Identify member needs, recommend solutions, and promote appropriate LCCU products
- 🎯 Consistently apply LCCU's service model in all interactions
- 💵 Promote deposit products based on member needs
- 📝 Stay informed about all credit union services and promotional offerings
Account Opening & Maintenance
- 🆕 Establish new memberships and open accounts adhering to policies
- 💼 Handle transactions like transfers, wire payments, and account updates
- 🔎 Research and resolve account issues promptly
- 🛡️ Support members in dispute resolution, fraud detection, and transaction errors
- 📱 Assist with card orders, online access issues, account closures, and transfers
- 🔄 Perform account modifications and ATM/debit card maintenance
- 📝 Process ITIN applications and keep member records up-to-date
🗃️ Administration
- 📁 Maintain accurate records, scan documents, and file paperwork
- ⚙️ Stay updated on processes, policies, and regulations
- 🤝 Help coordinate member flow and train new staff when needed
- 🔄 Perform Teller I duties as necessary
- 🌍 Participate in community events and outreach
- 🚶♂️ Be flexible to move between branches within the region
- 🎓 Complete ongoing training requirements
🔐 Bank Secrecy Act Responsibilities
- 💰 Complete CTR procedures for cash transactions over $10,000
- 🚩 Recognize and report suspicious activities
- 📊 Submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR) as required
- 🎓 Attend annual compliance training on BSA and Identity Theft
📝 Requirements
- 🎓 High School diploma or GED; 2+ years related experience preferred
- 💵 Accurate cash handling and figures calculation skills
- 🤝 Strong relationship-building and sales abilities
- 🧠 Knowledge of credit union products and services
- 📝 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- ⚡ Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- 🤝 Professional demeanor and effective communication in English and Spanish
- 💻 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email software
- 💪 Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds
