About the Role
The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is seeking accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based role, requiring you to reside within your designated territory to effectively serve your local community. Joining a collaborative team of 812 agents, you'll operate under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director who are committed to your success.

What You'll Do in This Field-Based Role
- Deliver:
Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Differentiate:
Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing personalized experiences that set Humana apart.
- Grow:
Drive self-generated sales, achieve performance goals, and expand Humana's presence in your community by building valuable relationships and becoming a trusted resource.

Required Qualifications
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese — fluent in speaking, reading, and writing all languages
- Residency within the designated local territory to serve the community effectively
- Comfort with daily face-to-face interactions in members' homes, community events, and outreach activities
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (minimum 25/25/10 coverage or higher based on state requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
- Experience in selling Medicare products
- Public speaking or group presentation skills
- Experience supporting Value-Based Care organizations
- Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Bilingual proficiency in English and an additional language
Additional Information
Driving Statement 🚗
This role requires a valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance, complying with minimum coverage limits and state regulations. Regular vehicle insurance is mandatory, and license validation will be conducted.
Language Proficiency Assessment 🗣️
Any associate speaking with members in non-English languages must complete a language proficiency assessment through an external vendor — specifically, the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test provided by the Federal Government.
Schedule ⏰
Appointments and events may occur during evenings and weekends, requiring flexibility to succeed in this role.
Training 📚
The first five weeks of employment involve mandatory training and attendance to ensure readiness and compliance.
Compensation 💰
Estimated annual range: $80,000 - $125,000, including base pay and commission — actual earnings may vary based on individual performance and geographic location.
Travel 🌎
While primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
