Team & Location
The MarketPoint Career Channel Team is looking for accomplished Medicare Sales Field Agents. This is a field-based role, so you must reside in the designated territory to serve your local community. You will join a team of 812 dedicated agents, working under the guidance of a Senior Manager and Regional Director committed to your success. Together, you'll bring Humana's strategy to life:
- Deliver: Build trust and educate individuals on Humana's Medicare Advantage plans and additional offerings like Life, Dental, Vision, and Prescription coverage.
- Differentiate: Create meaningful, face-to-face connections through grassroots marketing, community events, and in-home visits, providing a personalized experience that sets Humana apart.
- Grow: Drive self-generated sales, meet performance goals, and expand Humana's market presence by building strong community relationships.

Required Qualifications
- Active Health Insurance License or ability to obtain one
- Bilingual in English and Cantonese — fluent speaking, reading, and writing in both languages
- Reside within the designated local territory to serve the community effectively
- Comfort with daily face-to-face interactions in members' homes, community events, and service environments
- Valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance (minimum 25/25/10 coverage)
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License
- Experience selling Medicare products
- Public speaking or presentation skills
- Experience supporting Value Based Care organizations
- Familiarity with CRMs like Salesforce
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- Additional language proficiency in English and another language
Additional Information
Driving & Vehicle Requirements 🚗
This role is part of Humana's driver safety program. You must maintain a valid state driver's license and personal vehicle liability insurance (minimum limits as per state requirements). The license is subject to validation and review.
Language Proficiency 🌐
Applicants speaking with members in non-English languages will need to complete a language proficiency assessment, including the ILR test administered by the Federal Government.
Schedule & Training ⏰
Appointments and events may occur during evenings and weekends. Flexibility is crucial. The initial five weeks of employment and attendance are mandatory training sessions.
Compensation 💰
The estimated annual pay range for full-time employment (40 hours/week) is $80,000 - $125,000. This includes base salary and commissions, with actual earnings depending on individual performance and location.
Travel 🧳
While primarily remote, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required.
Schedule 📅
Average scheduled hours are 40 per week, with flexibility needed for varied appointment times, including nights and weekends.
