As a Bilingual Medical Office Assistant, You'll:

• Provide excellent customer service to patients at our East Baltimore Medical Center Adult Medicine, in partnership with Baltimore Medical System, supporting community healthcare needs.
• Handle inbound & outbound calls to schedule appointments, process medication refills, referrals, and relay messages for providers.
• Check patients in and out efficiently.
• Verify insurance details and collect patient demographics.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred
• Experience with EPIC software is highly advantageous
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required
• Ability to successfully complete all required training, including electronic medical records and insurance foundations (government & commercial)

Additional Information:

Salary Range: $17.37 to $28.68 per hour. Compensation will be based on experience and role scope. For ranges displayed as $0, salary will be discussed during screening. Note: The hospital reserves the right to modify employee schedules as needed.
