Current Opportunity: Bilingual Material Planner (English/Korean) — Clarksville, TN

We are seeking a motivated Bilingual Material Planner to join our dynamic team in Clarksville, Tennessee, as part of the Material Team. If you are fluent in English and Korean, and eager to contribute to a forward-thinking organization, this position is for you!

Compensation

Starting from $60,000 annually, with potential increases based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering to ensure cost-effective and timely inventory acquisition.
  • Maintain technical understanding of products purchased and monitor costs, schedules, and scope of subcontracts.
  • Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities.
  • Ensure security and accountability of inventory through documentation, process, and system review.
  • Analyze cycle count discrepancies and audit shipments to guarantee quality and accuracy.
  • Compile and document all transactional data for system entry.
  • Review and resolve master data management and ERP planning module expectations and errors.
  • Manage finished goods inventory levels to meet customer release deadlines while minimizing costs.
  • Support supply and inventory plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Reschedule materials (expedite or push out) to optimize inventory.
  • Achieve daily, monthly, and annual KPIs and adhere to budgets.
  • Align with the Innovation team to forecast and reduce labor expenses.
  • Promote and monitor safety practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist in planning product phase-ins and phase-outs, minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
  • Drive urgency and set well-defined goals to overcome obstacles and meet business challenges.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to adapt swiftly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Outlook.
  • Self-directed with excellent time management, initiative, and judgment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, plus interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and occasional travel (domestic and international).
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Korean.
