Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Material Handler to ensure the smooth and efficient handling, storage, and delivery of construction materials. Your role will be integral to the success of our projects, working closely with project managers and team members. Responsibilities 🛠️

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies
• Organize and maintain inventory in an accessible manner
• Prepare materials for delivery or pickup, including packaging, labeling, and securing loads
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist in loading and unloading materials onto trucks and other vehicles
• Collaborate with project managers to prioritize deliveries based on project schedules
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and usage
• Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy and update systems accordingly
• Help resolve any materials or supply discrepancies
• Adhere to all safety policies to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements ✅

• Must be fluent in Spanish
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Material Handler in construction
• Strong knowledge of handling procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and related machinery
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail in tracking inventory
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
