Job Overview
We are seeking a highly driven, bilingual (English/Spanish) Marketing & Sponsorship Director to spearhead brand growth, forge strategic partnerships, and generate revenue for the Latin Fashion Ecosystem, including:
- Latin Fashion Week 🎉
- New York Latin Fashion Week™ 🗽
- Latin Fashion Awards 🏆
- Latin Fashion Federation ✨
This impactful role focuses on sponsorship sales, increasing brand visibility, and positioning within the fashion, media, and luxury markets. The ideal candidate is a connector, a deal-closer, and a strategic thinker with experience in events, fashion, media, or brand partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship & Revenue (Top Priority)
- Build and manage a sponsorship pipeline exceeding $500K 💰
- Identify and secure partnerships with brands in beauty, fashion, luxury, automotive, and tech 🚗💄
- Lead outreach, conduct meetings, negotiate, and close sponsorship deals 🤝
Marketing & Brand Strategy
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to position the brand as a leader in Latino fashion globally 🌎
- Oversee campaigns for NY Fashion Week activations and Latin Fashion Awards
- Boost brand visibility across social media, media outlets, and live events 📱📰
Media & Partnerships
- Establish relationships with press, influencers, and industry leaders 🤳
- Secure media coverage and develop strategic collaborations
Team Leadership
- Manage social media managers and content creators
- Ensure weekly reporting, KPI tracking, and execution follow-through
Execution & Reporting
- Maintain sponsor pipeline tracker, weekly reports, and KPI dashboards 📊
- Deliver consistent, measurable results that align with business goals 🎯
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) 🗣️
- 3–5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, or fashion/events/media
- Proven success in deal closing and revenue generation
- Strong network within fashion, beauty, or media (preferred) 🌟
- Experience with CRM tools and outreach tracking
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills 🗨️
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented
Compensation
This role offers a competitive package comprising:
- Base salary (dependent on experience) 💼
- Commission on sponsorship deals (5%–10%) 💸
