About the Role

As a key member of our team at Rankings, you will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing AI-generated legal content to ensure it is accurate, readable, SEO-friendly, and compelling. Your work will directly influence client engagement and lead conversions in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Content Editing and Optimization: Create, edit, and proofread a high volume of legal blogs and landing pages in both English and Spanish, focusing on spelling, grammar, clarity, and SEO best practices.
• Legal Compliance: Ensure all content meets industry standards for legality and accuracy across languages.
• Readability & Engagement: Enhance content readability and engagement, adhering to our on-page SEO guidelines.
• Brand & Editorial Consistency: Follow client-specific branding and editorial standards.
• Workflow Collaboration: Work with content managers to improve processes and identify training needs.
• Content Management: Organize, update, and refine content to uphold accuracy and SEO effectiveness.
• Deadline Management: Efficiently track and handle workload to meet deadlines in a bilingual production setting.

Requirements

• Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent in English and Spanish, with proven ability to localize content for Mexican-American and Caribbean U.S. audiences, capturing regional vocabulary, tone, and cultural nuances.
• Experience: 2+ years in copywriting, copyediting, or content editing, preferably with a focus on SEO or legal content.
• Editing Skills: Expert in editing, proofreading, and content refinement.
• High-Volume Experience: Comfortable managing large amounts of content daily.
• SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO optimization strategies.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with CMS platforms such as WordPress, ClickUp, or similar tools.
• Task Management: Capable of prioritizing tasks while maintaining accuracy and speed.
• Workflow Optimization: Experience coordinating workflows and improving editorial processes.
• SEO Tools & AI Writing: Familiarity with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, Google Search Console, and AI content tools like Grammarly and Copyscape.
• Legal Content Knowledge: Working understanding of legal writing and SEO-driven legal marketing.
