Position Overview
The Bilingual Lease Up Compliance Coordinators will assist in lease-up activities by reviewing applications, verifying documentation, and maintaining compliance with affordability guidelines. Candidates should be attentive to detail, comfortable managing high data volumes, and effective communicators in Mandarin and English. The role is initially based in Midtown Manhattan, with future transition to Long Island City/Queens; commute flexibility is required.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Review and process affordable housing applications and supporting documents.
- Verify income, assets, and household eligibility for accuracy.
- Maintain organized applicant and tenant files for audit readiness.
- Enter and update data within property management and compliance systems.
- Communicate with applicants for scheduling, follow-ups, and documentation needs.
- Collaborate with leasing, compliance, and property management teams.
- Track application progress ensuring timely lease-up processing.
- Respond to internal inquiries regarding application statuses and requirements.
- Assist in audit preparations and compliance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive applicant information.
Required Skills & Experience ✅
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and review skills for complex documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- High accuracy in data entry and record management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to commute to Midtown Manhattan and Long Island City/Queens.
