Bilingual L&D Curriculum Development Specialist (Japanese or Korean) 🌐

Join our team as a Bilingual L&D Curriculum Development Specialist, where you'll lead the design of impactful learning programs that foster leadership and operational excellence across our enterprise.

Role Overview

The L&D Curriculum Development Specialist plays a key role in driving strategic learning initiatives by leveraging data insights, performance metrics, and evaluation frameworks to align curriculum with business objectives. You'll also facilitate training sessions, partner with stakeholders, and continuously improve learning solutions to elevate the learner experience and organizational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Researches and develops enterprise-level curriculum using the ADDIE model, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Program Evaluation: Measures the effectiveness of learning programs for Operations and Support Center associates through ROI analysis and Kirkpatrick framework assessments.
  • Performance Metrics: Identifies and applies KPIs to assess the impact of courses on job performance, leadership, and career growth, informing ongoing curriculum improvements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Leads focus groups and stakeholder sessions to gather insights, fostering curriculum innovation and refinement.
  • Research & Benchmarking: Keeps abreast of emerging learning methodologies, instructional technologies, and industry best practices to maintain program quality.
  • Content Collaboration: Works with the Director of Curriculum Development, Subject Matter Experts, and Training Managers to design, update, and ensure content relevancy.
  • Curriculum Mapping: Maps learning pathways to organizational competencies and capabilities to support business needs and talent strategies.
  • Training Facilitation: Facilitates select classes at GO and Support Center to validate content and ensure alignment with learner experiences.

Qualifications - External

Your background and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional/Curriculum Design, or a related field; Master's preferred 🎓
  • Minimum of five years in Learning & Development, ideally within retail or hospitality environments 🏪
  • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing in Japanese or Korean 🗣️
  • Successful completion of initial and ongoing training requirements ✅
  • Ability to obtain a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment 🍽️

Pay Range 💰

Position: P3

Salary: $90,000 - $126,500 annually

Note: Compensation varies based on work location and experience.
