We are excited to seek bilingual professionals fluent in Gujarati, Korean, or Spanish to support our rapidly expanding client base. This role offers an opportunity to engage with members, resolve complex healthcare coverage issues, and provide empathetic assistance to ensure seamless healthcare experiences.
Position Overview
As a Healthcare Support Agent, you will:
- Interact with members via inbound and outbound calls
- Resolve complex coverage and benefit concerns with your healthcare knowledge
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth healthcare transactions
- Utilize technology effectively to troubleshoot prior authorization issues
- Display strong customer service and de-escalation skills to support members through challenging situations
Top Skills & Requirements
- Experience in healthcare call centers or customer service (non-retail)
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills
- Comfort discussing sensitive healthcare topics (e.g., chronic conditions, end-of-life care)
- Ability to operate multiple monitors and systems simultaneously
- Must be bilingual in Spanish or Korean
- Knowledge of health plans and prior call center experience
Work Schedule & Location
This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX 77070.
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM local time
- October–April: Open 7 days a week
- April–October: Open Monday–Friday
Employment Details
This Contract-to-Hire position offers a pay range of $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on your employment classification and tenure.
