This role offers an opportunity to engage with members, resolve complex healthcare coverage issues, and provide empathetic assistance to ensure seamless healthcare experiences.

Position Overview

As a Healthcare Support Agent, you will:

• Interact with members via inbound and outbound calls
• Resolve complex coverage and benefit concerns with your healthcare knowledge
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth healthcare transactions
• Utilize technology effectively to troubleshoot prior authorization issues
• Display strong customer service and de-escalation skills to support members through challenging situations

Top Skills & Requirements

• Experience in healthcare call centers or customer service (non-retail)
• Excellent multitasking and communication skills
• Comfort discussing sensitive healthcare topics (e.g., chronic conditions, end-of-life care)
• Ability to operate multiple monitors and systems simultaneously
• Must be bilingual in Spanish or Korean
• Knowledge of health plans and prior call center experience

Work Schedule & Location

This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX 77070.

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM local time
• October–April: Open 7 days a week
• April–October: Open Monday–Friday

Employment Details

This Contract-to-Hire position offers a pay range of $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility for benefits depends on your employment classification and tenure.
