Join our team as a motivated and results-driven Key Account Manager I, focusing on strengthening and expanding strategic partnerships, particularly with Kennametal in the Southwest market.
Overview
We are looking for a dedicated professional to manage customer relationships, drive business growth, and identify new opportunities within the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. Candidates from Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada, or California are welcome to apply if willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development (50%) 🚀: Lead growth initiatives within the Southwestern market, targeting both existing clients and new prospects.
- Customer Engagement (30%) 🤝: Conduct 3–5 customer meetings weekly, build relationships with decision-makers, and maintain detailed contact records.
- Market Intelligence (10%) 📊: Collect and analyze market and competitor insights to inform strategic planning.
- Reporting (10%) 📝: Prepare Monthly Overview Reports highlighting activities, customer progress, and developments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME or equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in sales with a focus on revenue growth and cost management
- Skills: Excellent sales, communication, presentation, and active listening abilities
- Learning Agility: Quick learners who can apply new knowledge effectively
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mechanical products and applications is a strong advantage
- Languages: Proficiency in English; fluency in Spanish is required
