Job Opportunity: Underwriter 🔍

We are seeking a meticulous, analytical Underwriter to evaluate business funding applications, analyze financial documents and risk profiles, and make informed decisions on approval and funding amounts within our MCA programs.

Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is highly preferred, as many of our clients are Chinese-speaking business owners. Comprehensive training will be provided for candidates with strong analytical skills and a eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities ✨

• Review and evaluate MCA applications for small businesses
• Analyze bank statements, credit card processing data, and credit reports
• Assess risk exposure and determine suitable funding amounts and structures
• Coordinate with ISO and sales teams to gather missing documentation
• Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions
• Collaborate with funding and sales teams to expedite approval processes
• Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications ✔️

• Experience with MCA or financial services preferred
• Knowledge of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk metrics
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
• Must speak Chinese fluently.
