Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will evaluate business funding applications, analyze financial data and risk profiles, and make informed decisions regarding approvals and funding amounts within our MCA programs.

Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is highly preferred, as many of our clients are Chinese-speaking business owners. Training will be provided for candidates with strong analytical skills and a willingness to learn.

• Salary: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year 💰

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate MCA applications for small businesses
• Analyze bank statements, credit card processing data, and credit reports
• Assess risk exposure and determine suitable funding structures and amounts
• Coordinate with ISO and sales teams to gather missing documentation
• Maintain organized, accurate records of underwriting decisions
• Collaborate to streamline approval processes and timelines
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Experience in MCA or financial services is preferred
• Knowledge of financial statements, credit analysis, and risk metrics
• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and data analysis
• Exceptional attention to detail and decision-making
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Fluency in Chinese is required
