Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage, is looking for a Bilingual Insurance Account Manager to support Japanese corporate clients with Property & Casualty (P&C) programs. Job Description
This role is ideal for a seasoned insurance expert capable of independently managing corporate client relationships through a consultative approach. You will serve as a trusted advisor, overseeing renewals, offering strategic recommendations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service and compliance.
Responsibilities
🔑 Client Account Management
- Manage and retain assigned P&C client accounts
- Lead renewal processes, including coverage reviews, negotiations, and adjustments
- Serve as the primary contact for corporate clients
- Provide strategic insurance advice tailored to client needs
- Coordinate with underwriting, operations, and finance teams for seamless service
💼 Consultative Advisory
- Advise clients on Commercial Insurance lines such as Property, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Auto, and Specialty Lines
- Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Identify opportunities for improved coverage, cost savings, and risk management
🤝 Client Relationship & Operations
- Maintain strong, long-term client relationships with professionalism and discretion
- Manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Support issue resolution and ongoing service needs
- Communicate timely and accurately with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Fluent in Japanese with a solid understanding of Japanese business culture
- Business-level English (speaking, reading, writing, listening)
- 5+ years of experience in insurance account management, preferably within P&C
- Previous experience at an insurance brokerage is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of corporate insurance programs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- U.S. work authorization is required
Compensation & Benefits 💰
- Salary: $70,000 – $72,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Full-time, permanent position
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, standard business hours
- Location: Cypress, CA (Hybrid: in-office and remote)
