🌎 Join Our Team as the Institutional Partnerships & Marketing Manager!

We are seeking a dynamic professional to develop strategic university partnerships and lead our marketing efforts to foster international education opportunities between the U.S. and Latin America, especially Mexico.

🔹 Position Overview

The Institutional Partnerships & Marketing Manager is responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with universities and academic institutions across the U.S. and Latin America. This role involves market research, strategic outreach, and engaging key decision-makers to establish long-lasting partnerships. Additionally, you will spearhead our marketing strategy encompassing email campaigns, social media, and collaborating with the international education recruiter to facilitate direct student engagement.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Institutional Partnerships 🤝

  • Research and identify prospective university, college, business, and community partners in the U.S. and beyond
  • Conduct professional and strategic outreach to study abroad offices, academic departments, and international education leaders to promote program offerings
  • Coordinate and deliver virtual and in-person presentations for institutional partners
  • Develop partnership proposals, MOUs, and follow-up communications
  • Accurately track communications, partnership development, and ongoing relationship management
  • Provide internationalization consulting and localization expertise to position our partner institutions favorably in the U.S. market

🎯 Marketing & Communications Leadership

  • Strategically develop, manage, and analyze targeted Mailchimp campaigns for prospective students, partners, and alumni
  • Oversee organizational social media strategy and analytics
  • Create promotional materials and outreach toolkits for partners

🌐 Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Assist the International Education Recruiter with student-facing communication, including email follow-up, virtual info sessions, and CRM lead tracking
  • Support recruitment events and fairs through marketing materials and attending events alongside the recruiter
  • Collaborate with local faculty and staff to design and implement high-quality logistical, academic, pre-professional, language, and cultural programs that enhance brand visibility and reputation

🔎 Preferred Qualifications

  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fields
  • 3-4 years of experience in Marketing, Development, Sales, Recruitment, Partnerships, or Client Relationships
  • Experience with Canva, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact, or similar platforms, along with social media and CRM systems
  • Prior experience in higher education, study abroad, international programs, or student recruitment is preferred
  • A strategic thinker with a solutions-focused mindset, capable of turning challenges into opportunities and leading initiatives to completion
  • Proactive, self-motivated, energized by innovative solutions, and successful at closing opportunities

📍 Additional Information

  • This is a hybrid role; candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to San Diego, California, with occasional travel within Southern California and across the border in Baja California, Mexico
  • Starting at $25/hr, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for recruitment bonuses
