We Are Hiring: Bilingual Customer Service Associate 📞🌐
State Street Poultry & Provisions, a division of Holly Poultry with a legacy of over 60 years of service, is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Customer Service Associate to support our growing sales team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing excellent service to our diverse customer base, ensuring smooth communication and efficient order processing.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Work Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Customer Communication: Answer incoming calls and emails in English and Spanish
- Order Management: Accurately enter and process sales orders via internal systems
- Customer Updates: Provide order confirmations, delivery times, and product availability information
- Inquiry Handling: Respond promptly to questions about pricing, product specs, order status, and deliveries
- Coordination: Collaborate with production, logistics, and warehouse teams to fulfill orders on time
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints or escalate complex issues appropriately
- Administrative Support: Assist sales reps with administrative tasks and follow-ups
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and communications
- Translation: Translate documents and communications between English and Spanish as needed
- Reporting: Provide reports to executive management as required
- Additional Tasks: Support the team with other duties to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications & Skills ✅
- Language Fluency: Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) - required
- Education: High school diploma or GED
- Experience: At least 2 years in customer service, sales support, or order entry
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills in both languages
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational and data entry skills
- Collaboration: Ability to work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); ERP or order systems experience is a plus
- Work Under Pressure: Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Industry Knowledge: Willing to learn poultry products and industry terminology
Preferred Traits 🌟
- Experience in food manufacturing, specifically poultry
- Familiarity with bilingual customer service in wholesale or distribution
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Team player with a positive attitude and customer-first approach
Physical Requirements 🏋️♂️
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
- Occasional walking into cold or warehouse environments for order status or communication
- Must pass post-offer/pre-employment drug and background screening
