Position: Immigration Staff Attorney

We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and hardworking individual to join us as our new Immigration Staff Attorney.

Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of attorney experience reviewing immigration cases such as T-Visa, VAWA, U-Visa, and SIJS
  • Hold an active US Bar license (if you do NOT have a license to work in the USA, please DO NOT APPLY)

What You'll Do

As an Immigration Staff Attorney, you'll be an integral part of our frontline legal team, serving clients in vulnerable positions. Your responsibilities include:

  • Handling a full caseload and meeting directly with clients
  • Working closely with paralegals, support staff, and community partners
  • Delivering excellent legal service with compassionate care

Must-Have Qualities & Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish (fluent/native) and English
  • Quick learner capable of adapting to new systems and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong IT skills: Google Workspace, Excel, Slack, Monday, Immigration Case Management Systems
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Passion for advancing immigrant rights
  • Responsiveness and commitment towards clients, team, and leadership
  • Exceptional writing skills
  • Ability to react with appropriate urgency
