Job Description

Please note: Only apply if you have direct experience preparing USCIS/EOIR forms/submissions or managing a law office. This is an in-office position only. No remote or tele-work options are available. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. No calls, please.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to monitor and manage daily firm tasks across multiple offices in the Bay Area.
  • Handle pending family-based immigration petitions and applications with USCIS, NVC, and EOIR.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure timely submissions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish: Speak, read, and write proficiently.
  • Customer service experience: Strong skills in working with the general public.
  • Legal experience: Hands-on experience submitting applications and interacting with USCIS, NVC, and other agencies for cases such as I-485, I-751, I-130, 42B, I-589, N-400, I-765, DS-260, and state court filings for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Independence & Proactivity: Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Attention to detail: Precision in document preparation and case management.
  • Multitasking & Flexibility: Learn quickly and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Organizational Skills: Superb time management and organizational abilities.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive client information responsibly.
  • Passion & Commitment: Dedication to helping clients achieve immigration goals and a desire to stay with the firm long-term.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with computers, office equipment, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Team Management: Experience managing a team under tight deadlines is a plus.
