Position Summary

Shining Stars Montessori Academy PCS is seeking a dynamic Bilingual Immersion Instructional Coach to support the AVANZA dual-language program (PK3–Grade 3). This role focuses on delivering high-quality bilingual instruction rooted in Montessori principles, promoting biliteracy, and ensuring equitable outcomes for multilingual learners. 🌟

Key Responsibilities:

• 🗣️ Coach teachers in bilingual/dual-language instructional practices and Montessori integration
• 📚 Support Spanish Language Arts and content instruction (including math in Spanish)
• 📈 Monitor student progress in both languages; support data analysis and targeted interventions
• 🎯 Ensure alignment to Montessori standards and Common Core in both languages
• 🤝 Collaborate with ELL and Special Education teams to support diverse learners
• 📝 Lead bilingual professional development and curriculum implementation
• 💬 Support family communication and engagement in both English and Spanish

Qualifications:

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
• 🌎 Fluency in Spanish and English required
• 🧑‍🏫 Experience in dual-language/immersion programs required
• 📜 Montessori certification experience highly preferred
• 🕰️ 5+ years of teaching experience; coaching experience preferred
