This newly created role is perfect for a bilingual professional with HR experience, focusing on factory recruitment, onboarding, and employee support, especially for French-speaking staff.

Role Overview

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Recruit, hire, and onboard new factory and production team members.
  • Communication Support: Facilitate effective communication among all employees, with a focus on French-speaking staff as a bridge language.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in French and possess a strong background in HR practices and procedures. You should be capable of supporting factory direct hire recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance initiatives effectively.

Shift & Benefits

  • Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM with a flexible schedule and a 30-minute lunch break

  • Paid Time Off: 40 hours (5 days) of paid vacation after 90 days; additional 40 hours (5 days) after 180 days

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Management: Post jobs, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews for factory staff.
  • Onboarding & Orientation: Ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
  • Language Support: Provide translation services in French.
  • Employee Relations: Assist with resolving workplace issues and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Compliance: Maintain adherence to company policies and labor regulations.
  • HR Administration: Keep accurate employee records and support HR functions.
  • Cultural Liaison: Act as a bridge to enhance communication across diverse employee groups.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of HR experience in a factory environment, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws is preferred.
