Position Overview 🚀

As our onsite HR Business Partner in Commack, NY, you will:

  • Oversee all HR functions for the production facility
  • Ensure a safe and compliant work environment
  • Administer policies related to human resources
  • Foster a culture of growth, empowerment, and collaboration

You will be instrumental in aligning HR and business goals, supporting staff, and nurturing our company culture.

Key Responsibilities 🎯

  • Policy Management: Establish, communicate, and enforce HR policies in compliance with legal standards; stay updated on labor laws.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Administer payroll and benefits programs ensuring adherence to state laws.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor, resolving concerns and conflicts impartially.
  • Work Environment: Promote a positive, respectful, and safe workplace.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Talent Acquisition: Drive recruitment efforts, conduct interviews, and develop partnerships with educational institutions and industry networks.
  • Performance Management: Coach managers, implement performance review processes, and recognize excellence.
  • Employee Disciplinary & HR Issues: Guide supervisors on resolutions including disciplinary actions, promotions, and terminations.
  • Safety & Compliance: Manage safety training, investigate incidents, and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Data & Analytics: Use data insights to improve HR operations and decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills 🌟

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
  • Experience: Proven success in a multifaceted HR role within manufacturing, logistics, or similar environments.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with OSHA logs and safety training practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and leverage HRIS systems (preferably ADP Workforce Now).
  • Certifications: Relevant HR certifications are a plus!
  • Languages: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
