Overview

We are seeking a bilingual Human Resources Manager to oversee key HR functions in a fast-paced industrial environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess union experience, and have a proven track record in benefits, compensation, and talent management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Benefits Management: Negotiate and administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability coverage.
  • 401(k) Administration: Oversee and optimize the company’s 401(k) plan, ensuring compliance and employee education.
  • Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement compensation structures aligned with current market trends and internal equity.
  • Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to promote a positive, productive work environment and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Talent Management: Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and succession planning processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal and state labor laws and internal policies.
  • HR Advisory: Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Records & Systems: Maintain accurate HR records and oversee HRIS systems for efficient data management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 3+ years of union experience.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and verbal.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits, compensation, and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Preferred certifications: PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP.
