Job Summary
The Bilingual Human Resources Assistant will perform administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of our HR department. Key areas include onboarding, recruitment, benefits management, employee relations, and fostering employee engagement.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain accurate and current HR files, records, and documentation.
- Assemble new hire packets and conduct or assist with New Hire Orientation.
- Support background checks and Morpho fingerprint scans.
- Assist with employee terminations and VOEs.
- Contribute to recruiting efforts to attract top talent.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of HR files and records.
- Perform periodic audits to verify proper documentation.
- Plan and execute special events such as benefits open enrollment, meetings, employee relations events, and holiday parties. 🎉
- Provide fluent translation services in English and Spanish. 🗣️🌎
- Offer clerical support to the HR department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED 🎓
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of Human Resources experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. 📝
Required Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential matters with tact and professionalism.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Ability to learn HRIS platforms like Paycom rapidly or similar applications.
Physical Demands
- Sitting for extended periods at a desk working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
Working Conditions
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Work primarily in an office environment with standard office equipment.
- Moderate noise levels.
