🔑 Position: Bilingual Financial Wellbeing Coach - Homeownership
We are looking for a passionate, experienced professional fluent in both English and Spanish to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on providing personalized counseling, financial education, and resource support to clients navigating the homeownership process, ensuring all documentation and data entry adhere to HUD guidelines. Our goal is to instill confidence and knowledge, enabling clients to make informed financial choices. 🌎💬
Key Responsibilities
- Individual Counseling:
- Conduct one-on-one sessions on homeownership assistance and HUD programs, including FHA loans and down payment support.
- Create tailored action plans based on client needs and circumstances.
- Educate clients on budgeting, debt management, savings, and related topics.
- Financial Education:
- Deliver workshops and seminars, both virtual and in-person, on financial literacy and homeownership topics.
- Help clients understand financial implications of homeownership to make informed decisions.
- Build relationships with bank partners and community organizations for shared referrals.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Enroll and encourage clients to use our management system via the website.
- Maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings (Zoom, phone, in-person).
- Track progress using our CRM system, Dynamics.
- Resource Referral:
- Connect clients with community resources, grants, and services.
- Stay updated on community programs to benefit clients.
- Promote Operation HOPE solutions through social media channels.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate client records following HUD guidelines.
- Ensure daily data entry into our CRM, Dynamics.
- Provide timely updates and reports on client progress.
- Serve Spanish-speaking Clients:
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Engage diverse Hispanic and Latino communities with cultural sensitivity.
🔧 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Housing, Counseling, or related field preferred; equivalent 2+ years of relevant experience considered.
- Strong knowledge of personal finance, budgeting, debt, and savings strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- HUD certified or ability to pass the certification exam within 90 days.
- Experience in homeownership counseling or similar roles.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Empathetic, patient, and culturally sensitive approach.
- Self-starter with multitasking ability and minimal supervision.
- Ability to meet goals and deadlines; personal transportation required.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing HUD training.
🎯 Preferred Skills
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
- Background in loan packaging, sales, or community outreach.
- Public speaking skills in both English and Spanish.
