🔹 What You’ll Do & Who You Are

  • Keen to get your hands a little dirty—assisting with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, and light household chores

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Changing ostomy appliances
  • Reinforcing dressings (non-sterile)
  • Assisting with devices like canes, walkers, wheelchairs, or lifts
  • Helping with prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Supporting simple urine tests (e.g., for sugar, acetone, albumin)
  • Measuring and preparing special diets
  • Monitoring intake and output
  • Taking vital signs — temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure
  • Applying external catheters and supportive splints/slings

🎯 Must-Haves

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least six months of experience as a CNA in healthcare (home or facility-based)
  • Successful completion of a state-approved CNA course and competency evaluation
  • A compassionate attitude and a desire to provide exceptional care ❤️
