💼 Akkodis is hiring a Bilingual Global Incident Response (GIR) Analyst for a contract position supporting clients in Jersey City, NJ, Tempe, AZ, and Brea, CA. The ideal candidate will have the skills to investigate, triage, and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents across diverse environments while enhancing detection and response capabilities. 🌐🛡️

Position Overview

🌟 Role & Locations:

This position is remote-based with locations in Jersey City, NJ, Tempe, AZ, or Brea, CA.

💰 Rate Range

Rate: $60/hour to $63/hour

Note: The rate is negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

📝 Job Responsibilities

• Incident Investigation: Investigate, analyze, and respond to global cybersecurity incidents by correlating artifacts across endpoints, networks, and cloud environments to determine root cause and remediation.
• Alert Monitoring & Escalation: Monitor, triage, and escalate security alerts from internal logs, automated detections, and external service providers to ensure timely incident response.
• Incident Handling: Lead and support end‑to‑end incident response activities, including analysis of compromised systems, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Development & Enhancement: Develop and improve incident response playbooks, detections, reports, and automations aligned with industry frameworks and best practices.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Partner with compliance, risk, and audit teams to support inquiries, ensure regulatory adherence, and maintain security documentation.
• Research & Mentoring: Research emerging threats, attack techniques, and vulnerabilities while mentoring junior analysts and fostering ongoing security improvements.

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• At least 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations or Information Security
• Fluency in both English and Japanese, including cultural proficiency
• Hands-on expertise in incident response, security monitoring, and threat analysis across multiple OS and cloud environments

💵 Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $60.00 to $63.00 per hour
