TEKsystems Is Hiring A Bilingual French Customer Service Representative

Join Our Team as a Bilingual French Customer Service Agent — Remote Opportunity! 🌍

We are seeking a dedicated and multilingual customer service professional to support our third-party Financial Services client by handling insurance-related inquiries remotely. If you're passionate about helping customers resolve issues and possess excellent communication skills in French and English, this role is perfect for you!

Role Overview

As a Bilingual French Customer Service Agent, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with auto leases and loans related to insurance inefficiencies—such as cancellations, missed payments, or missing documentation. You'll contact customers on behalf of major brands like Capital One, GM, BMW, Audi, and Credit Unions to gather information and ensure all insurance requirements are met. Note: This is strictly informative calls—no sales or collections involved. 🚗📞

Daily Duties

  • Make approximately 14 calls per hour, staying on the phone throughout your shift 📞
  • Verify insurance details with agents (e.g., checking deduction accuracy)
  • Upload and document information on the company's internal website 💻
  • Leave scripted messages when insurance agents do not answer, following authorized scripts 📝

Shift Schedule

  • French Shift 1: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • French Shift 2: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday & 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Saturday

Training Program

The first 3 weeks involve comprehensive training from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including classroom instruction, shadowing, and supervised calls with listening staff. An end-of-week 3 assessment must be passed with at least 80% to transition into the regular shift. Failing the assessment provides one additional week for retesting, after which the assignment may be terminated.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM
  • Minimum 1+ year customer service experience (retail, call center, office, data entry, restaurant, etc.)
  • Comfort working on the phone all day without interruption
  • Proven ability to meet performance expectations
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
