We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused bilingual French-speaking Customer Service Agent to support a leading financial services client remotely. If you're passionate about helping people and fluent in French, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Position Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be reaching out to customers regarding auto leases and loans to resolve insurance issues. Your main responsibility is to assist customers with problem resolution related to insurance discrepancies, cancellations, missing documents, or missed payments. This role involves informative calls, not sales or collections.
Responsibilities
- Make approximately 14 calls per hour, fully dedicated to phone interactions throughout the day 📞
- Verify insurance details with agents (e.g., ensuring deductions are accurate)
- Upload and document information on the company's internal website 💻
- Leave scripted messages when insurance agents do not answer, based on approved scripts
Shift Schedule
- French - 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday
- French - 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday to Friday and 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturday
Training & Assessment
First 3 weeks: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including classroom training, shadowing, and call handling with supervision. An assessment at the end of week 3 requires a minimum score of 80% to transition to the regular shift. Failure to pass within the extra week may lead to termination.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to type 30 WPM
- At least 1 year of customer service experience (retail, call center, office work, data entry, restaurant, etc.)
- Comfortable speaking and working on the phone all day
- Ability to demonstrate past performance meeting expectations
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor

This is a Contract-to-Hire position based out of New York, NY.
