Job Details

• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour 💵
• Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 🕒

Key Responsibilities

The role involves operating a forklift to manage products safely and efficiently, ensuring packaging lines receive correct inventory, and maintaining organized storage. The position also includes warehouse duties such as picking, handling, loading/unloading trailers, and managing inventory.

• Operate forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products
• Ensure accurate and damage-free shipments from storage to trucks
• Supply packaging lines with the correct products, matching quantities and types
• Adhere to company's health & safety policies, rules, and procedures
• Report incidents, injuries, illnesses, or near misses to supervisors
• Use required safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) 🦺
• Report hazardous conditions, equipment issues, or safety compliance concerns

Food Safety & Quality Standards

This position strictly follows food safety and quality standards based on SQF requirements and supports ongoing food safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of forklift operation experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Proficiency in operating stand-up forklifts for product movement

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heavy machinery and loud noises 🚧🔊
• Work amidst forklift and machine traffic
• Temperature and humidity variations (Dry, Cooler, Freezer environments)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions
• Required to wear hair nets/beard nets at all times in food processing areas
