Job Overview

As a vital member of our warehouse team, you will operate forklifts to move and organize products, support packaging lines, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained across operations, primarily in a food production environment.

Position Details

• Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour 💰
• Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products safely and efficiently 🚜
• Provide packaging lines with the correct products, ensuring accuracy and proper organization 📦
• Perform warehouse duties such as picking, case handling, loading, unloading trailers, and inventory management 📋
• Move products from storage onto trucks, ensuring shipments are damage-free and accurate ✅
• Follow company health and safety protocols, work safely, and report hazards or unsafe conditions ⚠️
• Use appropriate safety and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times 🦺
• Report incidents, injuries, or equipment issues to supervisors promptly 🚑
• Assist in ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards based on SQF requirements ✔️

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent 🎓
• Minimum of 3 years' experience operating forklifts 🏗️
• Previous manufacturing industry experience 🏭
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification 📝
• Proficient in operating standup forklifts to move and stack products 🔄

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heavy machinery and loud noises 🔊
• Load and unload in areas with forklift and machine traffic 🚧
• Work in environments with varying temperature and humidity, including dry, cooler, and freezer settings ❄️🔥
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions 💪
• All employees are required to wear hair and beard nets at all times in the food site 🧑‍🍳
