Job Details
- Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour
- Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, and stack products, while ensuring safety and efficiency. They will also support packaging lines with accurate product supply and handle various warehouse duties.
- Operate forklift safely to move, load, and unload products, ensuring shipment accuracy and damage prevention. 🚧
- Pick, handle cases, and provide materials to production lines, maintaining organization.
- Manage inventory and perform general warehouse duties.
- Efficiently transfer products from storage to trucks, maintaining accuracy.
- Supply packaging lines with the correct products and quantities.
- Follow health and safety protocols, reporting incidents or hazards promptly. ⚠️
- Use appropriate safety and protective equipment at all times.
- Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or safety violations to supervisors.
- Adhere to food safety and quality standards based on SQF requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience operating a forklift.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Forklift Operator Certification required.
- Proficient in stand-up forklift operation for product movement and stacking.
Working Conditions
- Exposure to heavy machinery, loud noises, and forklift traffic.
- Work may be performed in varying temperatures and humidity, including dry, cooler, or freezer environments.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
- Mandatory use of hairnets and beard nets in food site environments. 🍽️
