Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant
In addition to standard safety and service duties, you will serve as a cultural and linguistic liaison. Responsibilities include:
- Making public announcements in both Japanese and English 🗣️
- Assisting passengers with customs forms and travel documents 📄
- Handling service recovery and guest issues with compassion ❤️
- Collaborating effectively within a multi-lingual crew 🤝
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
This role focuses on long-haul international flights, requiring:
- Preparation for multi-day trips & extended layovers 🛫
- Participation in night departures and weekend operations 🌙
- Flexibility for international on-call support & scheduled lines
Training & Onboarding
Candidates need a minimum of 2+ years of customer service experience. New hires will attend a 6.5-week paid training program in Houston, including a mandatory language proficiency test. Previous flight attendant experience is preferred but not required. 🎓
