Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant 🗣️
- Serve as a cultural and linguistic liaison for Japanese-speaking guests
- Make public announcements in Japanese and English
- Assist passengers with customs forms
- Handle service recovery issues with compassion and professionalism
- Work closely with a multi-lingual crew to uphold service standards
Daily Responsibilities & Schedule ⏰
This position involves:
- Long-haul international flights with multi-day trips
- Extended layovers and flexible scheduling, including night shifts and weekend operations
- Being available for international on-call support (reserve roles)
Training & Onboarding 📝
Candidates will undergo a 6.5-week paid training program in Houston, which includes:
- Mandatory language proficiency testing
- At least 2+ years of customer service experience
- Prior experience as a flight attendant is not required but advantageous
