Your Role as a Bilingual Flight Attendant 🗣️
Beyond standard safety and service duties, you will:
- Serve as a cultural and linguistic liaison
- Make public announcements in Japanese and English
- Assist passengers with customs forms and travel documentation
- Support service recovery for customer issues
- Collaborate effectively within a multi-lingual team
Daily Responsibilities & Schedule 🗓️
This role involves:
- Long-haul international flights
- Handling multi-day trips and extended layovers
- Working night shifts and weekends
- Being flexible and available for on-call support (reserve) and scheduled lines
Training & Onboarding 📚
Candidates must have:
- At least 2+ years of customer service experience
- Completion of a 6.5-week paid training program in Houston
- A mandatory language proficiency test in Japanese and English
- No previous flight attendant experience required (preferred but not mandatory)
