🔹 Responsibilities

The Family Centered Treatment Specialist provides quality psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families utilizing the Family Centered Treatment (FCT) model.

📝 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide FCT services in alignment with service definitions and fidelity requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain FCT Certification within the first year of employment.
  • Complete FCT checkoffs and internal trainings via an e-learning system.
  • Deliver services primarily in the home and community, focusing on family-centered care.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for a caseload of families and children.
  • Complete all clinical records and FCT documentation timely, adhering to company standards.
  • Develop and maintain individualized Service Plans in collaboration with the Treatment Team.
  • Coordinate communication and services with treatment team members and community resources.
  • Conduct ongoing revisions of Service Plans and facilitate the movement through treatment phases.
  • Provide psychoeducation and family interventions in line with the FCT model.
  • Assist families in establishing weekly goals and steps to achieve them.
  • Make referrals to necessary services and resources, and develop comprehensive discharge plans.
  • Coordinate assessments and convene Treatment Team meetings.
  • Engage with medical and non-medical providers, community supports, and natural supports to ensure effective care.
  • Ensure linkage to appropriate evaluations (psychological, psychiatric).
  • Monitor client progress and participate in quality assurance activities.

🎓 Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in human services or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with youth or families.
  • Bilingual skills required.
  • Current Family Centered Treatment Certification preferred.

State-Specific Requirements

  • Mississippi: Provisional PCSS credential with eligibility for full CCSS credential.
  • North Carolina: Qualified Professional (QP) with experience with children/adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
  • Ohio: LSW or provisional licensure preferred.
  • Virginia: Current Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or eligible to register as QMHP.
