Position Overview: Executive Housekeeper
The Executive Housekeeper leads, motivates, and develops the housekeeping team at the assigned site, ensuring quality standards, timeliness, and budget objectives are met. This role involves building strong relationships with resort management, vendors, and service providers, fostering a spirit of partnership and communication. The mission is to align with company values, prioritizing the best interests of the company, employees, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily site operations and collaborate to meet KPIs 📊
- Site Monitoring: Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure compliance with policies and standards 🔍
- Performance Management: Monitor quality, timeliness, and budgets; develop improvement plans if needed 📈
- Inventory & Equipment: Maintain tools, chemicals, and equipment in optimal condition 🛠️
- Communication & Change Leadership: Provide updates, lead organizational change initiatives 🔄
- Staffing & Training: Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development for staffing, onboarding, and employee retention strategies 🧑💼
- Performance Evaluation: Coach, evaluate, and discipline personnel; conduct performance reviews 📋
- Culture & Safety: Foster engagement, inclusion, and a safe working environment 🛡️
- Logistics & Transportation: Ensure effective vehicle utilization and safety protocols 🚗
- Client & Resort Relations: Maintain professional, ethical interactions with clients and resort staff 🤝
- Compliance & Policies: Enforce policies like MasterTalks, grooming standards, and cleaning procedures ✅
- Meetings & Quality Audits: Conduct regular team meetings and QA audits for continuous improvement 📅
- Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as directed by management 📝
Experience & Education Requirements
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience 🎓
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive management responsibility 🧑💼
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and performance-driven skills 🧠
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel 💻
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a plus 🗣️
- Ability to work irregular hours ⏰
- Up to 5% travel on a quarterly basis ✈️
- Valid driver’s license — required for certain locations 🚗
