Amazon Is Hiring A Bilingual Events Planning Project Manager

Seeking a contract role with Allegis Global Solutions to provide event planning services for Amazon's Prime Video team in LATAM, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. This position involves coordinating large-scale projects and collaborating across regions, offering a dynamic international work environment.

🔹 Job Overview

Note: This is a contractual position where you will be employed by AGS and not directly by Amazon. If selected, you'll support Amazon via Allegis Global Solutions on a 12-month contract based in Miami, FL, with some travel opportunities.

🚀 Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete projects/programs from inception to conclusion.
• Oversee all aspects of project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
• Set deadlines and assign responsibilities to team members.
• Monitor and summarize project progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare detailed reports for upper management regarding project and program statuses.
• Lead and direct team efforts, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Utilize creativity and strategic thinking to solve problems and enhance project outcomes.

🌍 Business Group

• Part of the Events team for Prime Video covering LATAM, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
• Focus on premieres, screenings, documentaries, and supporting global titles.
• Plan events with agencies and work on onboarding new partners.
• Handle regional titles, junkets, talent tours, media tours, and related activities.

🎯 Key Projects

• Annual planning, with some variance anticipated.
• Manage 7 projects for the remainder of the year, with a more complex slate of titles coming next year.

📅 Day-to-Day Activities

• Conduct planning sessions, meetings, and calls with regional teams to coordinate local titles.
• Prepare for upcoming screenings and premieres in the upcoming months.
• Order DCPs and open POs to facilitate event logistics.
• Design and organize events primarily focused on premieres and screenings.
• Develop documentation and plans for events.
• Present event plans to executives for approval and alignment.
• Collaborate across Amazon divisions, including Music, Games, and Books.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• 5+ years of Event Planning experience.

💼 Contract Details

• Length: 12 months
• Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid) with some travel
• Pay Range: $43 - $48 per hour
