Overview
NRI Staffing is seeking professional bilingual event staff to support a large-scale international conference at the Washington, DC Convention Center. This short-term role is perfect for candidates with strong communication skills, professionalism, and confidence in engaging with high-level attendees in fast-paced settings.
Attendees include physicians from Latin America, so fluency in Spanish is required. Staff will ensure a smooth event experience by supporting registration, managing attendee flow, and assisting guests across the venue.

- Line Monitoring
All roles focus on operational efficiency and delivering a positive guest experience.
Schedule 📅
- May 13: Training day (registration staff)
- May 13–17: Event support (multiple shifts available)
- May 18: Limited shifts (breakdown support; fewer positions available)
Shift times may vary between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Dress Code 👔
Black pants, white shirt, black shoes (clean sneakers acceptable). Red jacket provided onsite.
Key Responsibilities 💼
- Provide excellent customer service to all attendees
- Assist with registration, check-in, and badge distribution
- Guide guests to appropriate areas, sessions, or lines
- Monitor attendee flow and maintain organized entry points
- Staff information desks and respond to general inquiries
- Support breakout rooms and session logistics
- Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed
- Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at all times
Qualifications ✅
- Fully bilingual in Spanish and English
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor capable of engaging high-level attendees
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Reliable and punctual, able to commit to scheduled shifts
- Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service a plus
