The Role

We’re seeking a dynamic individual to coordinate programs, teach ESL classes twice a week, and lead digital literacy sessions twice a month. This position is vital in supporting VACCEB programs and providing essential instruction to diverse adult learners.

📝 Duties

• Assist non-English speaking clients with signing up for public benefits
• Teach ESL and Digital Literacy classes
• Refer clients to supportive services
• Manage casework and follow-up with clients
• Attend relevant training workshops to enhance skills
• Lead special projects as assigned

✅ Requirements

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish, Cantonese, or Vietnamese is required
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a non-profit environment
• Ability to work effectively with seniors, refugees, and immigrants
• Demonstrated experience teaching English-limited students
• TESOL certification or ability to obtain it
• Highly organized and client service-oriented with strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
